Great product. Small technical issues to be aware of

This was a great product for shielding my strat. I was getting hum from 60Hz that went away when I ever I touched the strings. This fixed the problem and was easy to do. Be prepared for the foil to spring away from its backing. There is a small learning curve in figuring out to handle this the first time.Just an FYI. After my install I hadGrounding issues where the selector switch and the input jack were grounding to the foil, Wrapping some insulation tape at potential contact points fixed the issue.

I must have done it right because my bass is silent, no hiss and if I’m just holding the bass I have to make sure the volume is up because this worked for me.
