I didn't read the instructions; how difficult it can be, right? My first attempt at using it was with sweet potatoes and it stuck. I mean seriously stuck! What I put through this little device to peel this sweet potato is in itself a testament to its durability! After my battle was won, I looked up the instructions, which said to microwave the sweet potatoes for a minute first. Then I saw that the same thing was written on the outside of the box. Bless their hearts, they really tried! In fact, just a minute in the microwave was enough. I had a big bunch of sweet potato fries in seconds.
