Review on Gibson 69517 Super Truck Stainless Dual Exhaust System: Unleash the Power of Performance by Marcus Price

Very pleased with the design and materials used to make this exhaust system, although a little flashy for a purpose built F350 van. The bad news is that this is NOT a straight screw system. Not only did it not reach the extension tube after the converter, but it also required the suspension bracket to be removed and welded back into the correct and working position, likely voiding any warranty. The feel of the power increase is minimal and not very noticeable, so don't think you'll have a "super truck" then. To my relief it is much quieter than my fears (+95dB! in Gibson's description) of an extremely loud or humming system compared to other exhausts. I used to have a full size Chevy van with a 305 engine and two glass packages that sounded much more aggressive. I look forward to stainless steel materials in the coming winter season.
