Before I bought a small Mag-Float scrubber I looked at another cheaper product on Revain. I don't usually pay attention to reviews, but in this case I'm glad I read it. Someone mentioned that the other doesn't swim and that the glass vibrates during the cleaning process, which startled the fish. I assumed they were all swimming, it's 2015, after all we certainly have the technique - but apparently we don't. I'm glad I spent about five more dollars and got this product. It worked great, it was fun to use, it spins easily thanks to its ability to float. In fact, swimming is a must; Sometimes during the cleaning process, you move the magnet too fast, which causes the scrubber to come off the fence, or a grain of sand gets caught between the scrubber and the fence, and you intentionally release it a few times to let the water flush the scrubber off the fence Tank so the grain of sand doesn't scratch the glass. There was no vibration and it didn't startle the fish at all. They were curious anyway. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I still feel like it's a bit pricey for what it is and its size, but it worked so well that I didn't really consider another brand have if I ever have to buy anything again.
