This is the MOST PERFECT for Brisket Stew! It's big enough for a 5lb brisket, lots of chopped onions and 2+ cups of wine, and with a piece of parchment paper between the lid and jar for a perfect seal, it became a mealtime paradise for us. I look forward to using it for my lamb tagine and other long stews. It's perfect, beautiful to look at and easy to clean. I would give a million stars if I could.
