This drawer was the hardest one I've ever worked on to install. To disassemble the box, you first need 3 different Phillips screwdrivers. To install the pipe I tried knocking out the knockout holes and the side of the box started sagging. When I opened the box and took a closer look, I found that the "knockout holes" were simply knocked out decorations in the metal, with no cutouts. I had to take a hole saw and drill a hole in the box. Upon installation, you'll find that the lid doesn't lock in the open position, requiring a third hand to hold the lid open to install the mounting screws while fighting gravity the whole time. To attach the wire you will find that the spade lugs are #12 or maybe #10 for solid copper wire. I was about 70 feet from the source and used #8 cu. (7 threads). the wire was just too thick for the eyelets and the eyelets had to be changed. When you finally manage to attach the cable, you will find that there is so little space between the back of the socket and the back of the box that there is no room for additional cable. I would have expected to see this box if it was designed as a school project by students who have never done electrical work. Save yourself the hassle and extra work and just buy a quality box, you'll be grateful. You get what you pay for.
