🔌 RVGUARD 30 Amp 50 Feet RV Power Extension Cord: Heavy Duty STW Wire with LED, Cord Organizer, Green, ETL Listed Review

This cable is a replacement for an expensive cable I bought from a major outdoor chain. After a few years of use, it developed an intermittent short circuit that left us without power at times. This also seems to be well made. We have used it several times and hope it will last.

This fits much snugger and the ring holds it in place much better than the original equipment. I bought the 30ft version. Worth the money, no problem. And adding a finger grip to remove the plug from the alternator is a great idea.

Really like that it's more flexible than the cord that came with my campervan - a big plus. I also like that it has an LED so I can see if there is power at the plug. The only downside is that the LED is rather dim - the faint green LED against the background of the green connector housing is difficult to see in the sun - a red LED or a light green one had to be used. However, it costs money.

I really like this cord but I found the part that attaches to the trailer to be a bit thinner than the cord I replaced. I was using a Furion cable but it wasn't long enough for my needs so I switched to that instead of connecting the cables together. The length is amazing but I have to be careful with the round part I mentioned. In my opinion it should be thicker. I really appreciated the free pouch and plastic cord organizer that came with it.

The connector isn't as big and thick as other 30 amp cords, which gave me some concerns. However, this can be purely cosmetic. While it's longer and allows us to park farther from our property's power source, we haven't experienced any derating or circuit breakers that draw too much current. I would buy it again and can recommend this product.

We downsized our generator to get more run hours with less fuel. When I did this I had to convert back from 220v to 110v (both 30 amps). I was happy to find this cable. After our electrician replaces the end of the house with a suitable plug, the female end of this cord is twisted and securely fastened, and the end that connects to the generator has a finger loop to make it easy to unplug. Lighting is an added safety factor, although it's easy to see when a generator is running. I am very happy
