Accurate and works perfectly for heating a ball python

I am currently using this to control a ceramic radiant heater and under tank heater to maintain the temperature on the hot side of my 20 gallon glass python tank. For ball pythons, the angle should be about 90°. For CHE I have a probe sticking out to measure ambient temperature. On at 87°, off at 92°. For UTH, I placed a reptile mat on top of a heating pad to keep the snake from getting too close. Then I put the probe under the carpet and it comes out of the hole in the middle. I set this to 87° and turned it off to 90° because the temp keeps rising after it's turned off and gets too hot when it hits a higher temp. Always set and run during the day before adding a snake. Use a laser temperature gun to check temperatures and hot/cold spots. Adjust as needed. This thermostat has never failed and always works accurately. Be sure to calibrate it before use. Edit: I've since switched to a PVC encased radiant heat panel as it's much easier to stay warm and humid. I still use this thermostat as it works great with the thermopanel. With this setup my settings are only 86 x 88 and this keeps the range at 90°.
