Review on 🔌 MEGEAR Level 1-2 EV Charger (100-240V, 16A) – Portable Electric Vehicle Charging Station for Home – NEMA6-20 with NEMA5-15 Adapter by Chris Castro

6 month update: I have 120v 20amp wall sockets at my work place which we use to charge electric vehicles allowed to. BMW i3 2016. I could not achieve 1.9 kW on a 120 16A line as advertised. I consistently got 1.2kW (worse than the charger that came with the i3). Bought expecting to hit 1.9kW. 120V, 16A. Charging: 8 hours at 1.2 kW (outside temperature approx. 75°F) - approx. 40 miles in addition to the EV. Bought an orange plug cap for the adapter cord - a bit of extra wet protection (see PIC) I used this charger daily for six months in all Northeast weather conditions. Very reliable, no problems. I used 240V on the line - very fast as advertised - not the same as my 32A home charger but much faster than 120V. Pros: - More than 6 months of daily use - Unbeatable reliability - Build quality is very good - Wearing She holds the suitcase well. Cons: - Cannot achieve the advertised power of 1.9kW at 120V 16A.
