I test my water with two types of testers. A kit is a testing kit where water is added to the vial and then the liquid/powder is added, mixed and maintained. The second is these stripes. You are very accurate. I use fancy test kits to determine the exact amount when there is a problem, but they alert me to a problem. They are ideal for daily/biweekly use. Other testers are time consuming when testing multiple things. I've been using both types for over a month now. Two weeks ago these little strips saved my seahorse's life. No problem. Fred and Ethel are safe again.
