Features look great as I had hoped. But to my dismay when Hurricane Matthew rolled in, I took my FRX4 out of the box for the first time and it wouldn't turn on. However, after some excitement, the flashlight caught fire and would not turn off. After the storm I sent the block back to Eton at my own expense and waited for a new one. A new one arrived today and it won't turn on with the batteries in or the USB cable plugged in. However, the flashlight turned on when the USB cable was plugged in and only turned off after the cable was disconnected. At the moment, I really envy you who give reviews of 4 and 5 launches with working devices, and I am disappointed in Eton. Update: I complained to Eaton that the second radio didn't work either and got a reply to check the tracking number. Thinking it was a different unit, I waited a few days to check the shipping progress and found that the tracking number was for the first defective replacement unit. Either their employees are too busy to read messages or they just don't care about customer service. And it's too late to get a refund. Bad bad bad. Update 2: I just received an offer to replace the FRX3. I accept. Lets see what happens. I offered to send back the second defective FRX4 if I received a prepaid label.
