Why would anyone build a product with the intention of fitting 4x4 when 4x4 won't fit? I had to install a mailbox but there are too many stones but not strong enough to attach them to. So I bought this thing to put in a mold and then concrete around it. The purpose was that I could easily replace it in case the 4x4 got damaged. But once the concrete was poured and cured, I flipped the piece, which now weighs 110 pounds, and found the 4x4 didn't fit. The outer side measurements of the product correspond to the actual size 4x4. So I had to get a new 4x4 and start cutting it to fit. After about 1.5 hours it finally starts and now I have a mailbox ready for the post. It works great, but why not make it suitable for a 4WD car?
