Built like a tank! for mailbox system

I assembled it with base and base and tried to set it up. It was so heavy that I accidentally dropped it on the cement floor. No damage at all. A few scratches on the paint. It's built like a tank. Once anchored in cement, I'm no longer afraid of mail theft or vandalism.

Well built and solid

The Mail Boss Base Plate Bracket is powder coated and very well made from heavy gauge steel. It comes with all the screws to mount it to our wooden deck and a separate Mail Boss stand for mounting. This base plate mount had slots in the bottom to allow water to drain as well. I highly recommend it.

Ridiculously the best in the mailbox Accessories and Hardware

Why would anyone build a product with the intention of fitting 4x4 when 4x4 won't fit? I had to install a mailbox but there are too many stones but not strong enough to attach them to. So I bought this thing to put in a mold and then concrete around it. The purpose was that I could easily replace it in case the 4x4 got damaged. But once the concrete was poured and cured, I flipped the piece, which now weighs 110 pounds, and found the 4x4 didn't fit. The outer side measurements of the product…

The 4x4 wood pole needs trimming but carries a heavy hardwood bow ♡

I made these bows as a surprise for my friend's wife on her wedding day and they were almost perfect. I was concerned that the surrounding bases wouldn't be wide enough to support the heavy bow, but they were *almost* perfect, and he specifically DID NOT want the angled cross braces at the top. A 4x4 rack will NOT fit without chiseling all the way around and also incorporating those weird protrusions on the inside that are only on three sides, but once they fit I used screws to attach the…

However, they work for nominal 4x4s.

You need to mill something. These bases are designed to accept metal bars from the same manufacturer, not standard 4x4 bars. So that means the inside size is 3 3/8, not 3 1/2, let alone 3 9/16, which is usually a true 4x4 size. The client didn't want me tearing up their deck to attach the poles to the joists. I didn't want to do that either, as decking screws (listed as stainless) tend to rust and break unless they're stainless steel, making removing the old decking risky. These bases fit the…
