Review on 📨 Black 7155 Surface Mount Base Plate for Mail Boss by Donald Gore

I made these bows as a surprise for my friend's wife on her wedding day and they were almost perfect. I was concerned that the surrounding bases wouldn't be wide enough to support the heavy bow, but they were *almost* perfect, and he specifically DID NOT want the angled cross braces at the top. A 4x4 rack will NOT fit without chiseling all the way around and also incorporating those weird protrusions on the inside that are only on three sides, but once they fit I used screws to attach the uprights. No one went under the arch so I can't comment on how stable it is in the event of an accidental impact, but it consisted of 2 4x4 posts 6ft high, a 2x8 front beam 6ft long and a 1x4 at the top. All made from vertical grain fir from a local lumber store and painted with Kona Varathane paint.
