Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Flexibility Silicone Electrical Conductor: Parallel and Versatile by Nick Kirschenmann

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for cabling upgrades. brackets easier.

I got this to be able to deliver more power for a project than the regular 28 AWG cable that most USB -Chargers can handle. I've tried using standard 18AWG insulated wire before and found that it doesn't crimp well into smaller connectors and often breaks, resulting in a crimp that just holds onto the wire or doesn't fit the connector properly . Interconnects. The silicone insulation is softer so it compresses well rather than cracking or causing a twisted crimp, resulting in a clean and strong connection. Also better for soldering as you don't have to worry about melting the insulation due to the higher heat resistance.

Pros
  • 50 feet total: 2 conductors, parallel wire, black and red, each color 25 feet
Cons
  • Legacy model
