I needed two locks but had to buy four because the first two hiplocks broke right away. The first jammed, did not open. The second didn't close no matter what combination I set, it just opened. Along with Ottolock, I took two working hiplocks to Burning Man. On the first day, one of the hiplocks got stuck on his bike. It didn't open. I was ready for this and grabbed the wire cutters. I cut the tape and threw away both hiplocks. Hiplock is complete bullshit. OTTOLOCK (Stealth Black, 30") worked like clockwork, no problems with dust and sand.
