Review on 🏠 Sanyo CRSR-10 Sirius Satellite Receiver Dual Kit for Car and Home by Trendsetters Hare

Revainrating 5 out of 5

not worth it for satellite radio

I thought we'd upgrade an old mobile orbit kit and get a home kit, but this Sanyo receiver only looks better. Since there is no docking station, you have to manually disconnect the device from the car or home: disconnect power, antenna, audio jacks, etc. This is time consuming when you are in a hurry and just want to save the device to prevent theft. The home kit is limited as I've been told that my receiving antenna should be on the north side of my house (my stereo is on the south side and the antenna is missing). If you want a longer cable, it will cost you $30. Ever heard of a radio antenna that needs to be aimed at a specific side of your house just outside the window? They should suggest that the antenna needs to be installed on the roof and give you a longer cable.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negligible maintainability
