Review on MICTUNING Wiring Harness for LED Light Bar Off-Road Power with 40A Relay Fuse and ON-Off Switch (2 Lead) by Montez Parson

This wiring harness is easy to plug and play. I hooked up some LEDs to my car and bought the wrong wiring at first until I found the MicTuning MIC-B1001 2-wire. This wiring harness was easy to install and works like a charm. This is my full review of the various components. APPEARANCE The wire harness itself appears very neatly packaged in the box, with most of the wires protectively wrapped around it, and no visible kinks, breaks or broken parts. Everything looks pretty solid. The only thing that bothered me was the sleeveless wiring around the fuse and relay, which I taped up after the installation was complete. A simple solution for peace of mind. I also wrapped all my connections between the headlights and seat belts. FUNCTIONALITY Harnesses work very well. The kit includes adapters with connectors for the red and black wires on the lights and sleeves for both connectors. As soon as I hooked up all my wires to the headlights and battery, they lit up instantly. The relay has a hole for mounting on the engine compartment wall. In general, where it is convenient. The only downside is that there aren't many wires from the relay to the positive/negative battery post, so finding the perfect spot for it was a bit difficult. I managed to squeeze it right under the hood bumper and was lucky enough to happen to find a self-tapping screw lying around to attach it. THINGS YOU CAN KEEP ON HANDS * Electrical tape for any wires you think are exposed or shrink wrap * Self tapping zip ties, these things are awesome and very easy without the sharp edges you usually get when Your cut is not flush. They come in handy for securing wire harness to grille/frame etc. FEEDBACK FOR IMPROVEMENT Longer wiring for relay wires to battery. All in all, the delivery was on time and it does what it promises. Great trailer for a great price.
