Good and accurate.: Temperature and Humidity

October 23, 2016 Purchased this to control a heating band on a 1 gallon kombucha jar. I set the temperature difference to 1 degree and check the temperature every time. is +/- 1/2 degree from the set value (78 degrees) each time. And I checked the temperature with a separate high-quality thermometer, and the Inkbird's temperature and my thermometer's temperature matched. If it doesn't match, there is a feature on Inkbird to calibrate it. My only regret is that I wish I had bought a model with a smaller probe. I thought it would be a good idea to stick a probe into the kombucha while it's fermenting. But the long probe interfered with the formation of my scabies. The good news is that the probe is detachable and easy to swap out. reflectix insulation surface tt The sensor only measured the temperature of the glass, not the temperature of the ambient air.
