Description of Inkbird Thermostat Temperature Controller Fermentation

Simple to use: plug it in, set the temp ranges, place the probe, plug in the heater/cooler into the marked outlet. Be able to connect with refrigeration and heating equipment at the same time. Easily calibrated. Can display in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Whether you need temperature control for fermentation, greenhouse, kombucha control or to set up your temperature project system, the ITC-308 temperature controller is a great choice.

Works flawlessly! Very happy AGAIN!

InkBird does it again! I bought this 308 to control the water temperature in my DWC and also bought this for the ambient temperature in my gardens. I hooked up my AC (the old window unit is now on the floor) and my heater (both analogue, not digital), set my desired temperature, removed my high and low 4 degrees from my desired temperature, reset my existing room temperature reader (for Measuring is my t-appointment the next morning) and off we go. Woke up and my T-date is 6! Has worked…

Was impressed enough with one I bought two more

I used one of these temperature controllers for a year and was so impressed with it that I bought two more. I use two of these to control the car battery heaters I have (one car is in the garage for the winter and the other is parked outside). I want the battery heaters to only turn on when the ambient temperature is below 36 degrees Fahrenheit and they work great. I use a third controller for a kerosene torpedo heater that shuts itself off once the ambient temperature reaches 46 degrees…

Works like a champ - very happy

I use this controller in a sparkling water configuration to maintain a set temperature of 34 degrees Fahrenheit +- 2 degrees. It works very well and seems fairly accurate and keeps the set temperature within the set range. It's pretty much "set and forget". Programming is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Not the best guide in the world (either poorly translated or written by someone with English as a second language). It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of, but like I said, once…

This unit heats and cools at the same time

I bought this unit to replace a broken thermostat on my freezer. It was 1/4 the price of the original thermostat so the freezer was worth the repair, not the replacement. It's easy to set up when you have a guide in front of you. You can either heat or cool the area you want to regulate. One output for the heating, the other for the cooling device. You don't need to make any changes to switch between the two devices, the device does it automatically. What interests me the most is that it has a…

Good and accurate.: Temperature and Humidity

October 23, 2016 Purchased this to control a heating band on a 1 gallon kombucha jar. I set the temperature difference to 1 degree and check the temperature every time. is +/- 1/2 degree from the set value (78 degrees) each time. And I checked the temperature with a separate high-quality thermometer, and the Inkbird's temperature and my thermometer's temperature matched. If it doesn't match, there is a feature on Inkbird to calibrate it. My only regret is that I wish I had bought a model with a

This is a relationship of love and hate.

Before purchasing this product I had to use a thermometer and if it works it means it's time to turn off the heaters for our seedlings. We have 2 heaters that are 4ft long and I wanted something to turn on and off automatically when the right temperature is reached. The instructions are so bad I had to upload them to Youtube but they struggled to set the desired temperature to turn on. So I figured all you have to do is press the install button for 3 seconds and it will go to TS. Set the…

Temperature controller Great

Let me start by saying that I calibrate for a living and have dabbled with almost every type of temperature controller on the market. I bought this controller for my fridge as the internal thermostat failed. The first thing I did after receiving this item was to verify accuracy using the NIST traceable temperature standard. When delivered, this device differed by only a tenth of a degree Fahrenheit. I've almost never seen such accuracy in a $35 instrument. The instructions are very readable and

Inkbird Pre-Assembled Digital Two-Stage Temperature Controller

First let me say that the functionality of these thermostats is excellent. They are easy to set up and program. However, there is one major issue that makes this device all but useless for any mission-critical measurement applications like aquariums. I had two older controllers that didn't have a detachable probe and both started having tracking issues. Temperature accurate for some time. It was getting worse and worse; outside the calibration range of the controller. I ordered a newer version…

October 2019 Update The sensor could not be replaced, resulting in the same issue as before. It's clearly a sensor, not a block. But I will not continue to buy replacement probes as this product tries to kill my fish every six months. Garbage. DO NOT BUY. Update April 2019 Just a few months later yesterday I found the temperature was over 77 degrees while the tank thermometer read 70 which is the backup heater setting. So the thing failed functionally. Maybe it's just a sensor or who knows…
