Review on Inkbird Thermostat Temperature Controller Fermentation by Adam Cummings

This is a relationship of love and hate.

Before purchasing this product I had to use a thermometer and if it works it means it's time to turn off the heaters for our seedlings. We have 2 heaters that are 4ft long and I wanted something to turn on and off automatically when the right temperature is reached. The instructions are so bad I had to upload them to Youtube but they struggled to set the desired temperature to turn on. So I figured all you have to do is press the install button for 3 seconds and it will go to TS. Set the desired temperature. Say 68 F. Then press the Set button again for 3 seconds to save. Now press the install button again, but this time press the down arrow until you see HD. I set it to 1, which means if it gets one degree smaller or larger than 1, it turns on or off. Basically, 68F is actually 66-67.5F. The main issue I had was the shaky display. (see picture) Another problem, the sensor sometimes does not give the correct temperature. I have another low tech temp sensor and it is accurate. So make sure you keep an eye on your temperature otherwise you could kill your plants or worse your reptiles.

Pros

Cons
