I bought some genuine VW clips to replace the ones that failed on my Beetle. I had trouble grasping them because the narrower "neck area" is so small. Some broke and I was disappointed to pay so much for poor quality junk. Luckily I found her at Revain. These clip and locking clips are made of stronger plastic/nylon(?). They have a wider nape area so they snap securely in place and feel stronger. I usually avoid aftermarket parts, but here is the case where the original part just doesn't fit the bill and costs about five times as much.
