In short: good product, great price and great MacBook compatible solution for serious home office work with dual monitors, keyboard and mouse in full Size /other All peripherals are powered by your MacBook. I am very excited about this docking station. I recently had a MacBook Pro for work and was looking for a new docking solution as the USB-C Thunderbolt dock I had on hand wasn't compatible with the MacBook (much to my surprise). After searching on Revain, this product was recommended with 5 star reviews. Not only is the form factor nice, this dock has plenty of ports, USB 3, USB 2, 2 HDMI, host adapter, power and ethernet in, not to mention USB 3 and a headphone jack on the front. . The quality is solid, and I love the connection cable that connects the Mac, it uses both ports for maximum bandwidth and a (physically) secure connection, and has a certain length, making it more convenient to place a MacBook on my desk. The docking station was compatible right out of the box! All I had to do was turn on the machine with my MacBook charger and cable, connect my computer, monitors and peripherals, and with the Amphetamine app on my MacBook I was able to close the lid without putting the computer to sleep to put, and only work what I have Unfortunately I've had no luck with these Thunderbolt docks over the years, especially the last Dell XPS I had, the connection was always buggy and shaky, forcing reboots etc to get the device working, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the "It just works" straight out of the box with no software or drivers to install. In addition, the price is great. They offered a 30% off coupon and I paid $95 for it which is a great value compared to other offers. From what I've read in other reviews, the customer service is excellent. While I hope I don't have to use their services, it's nice to know that the product is well supported and you don't have to jump through hoops to get a replacement when needed.
