I received this Tera scanner to replace a TC70 that the shop I work at has. I was so excited to try this after watching the video here and seeing how small it is and also knowing that I can velcro attach it to my phone. What I like about it is how small it is. It is 3.125 inches long, 1.5625 inches wide and 0.75 inches thick. It's small enough that I can attach it to the back of my phone's protective case and scan while holding the phone in one hand, so I can see the scan results while holding the box in the other hand. I also like how the manual dictates the settings. to change the feedback to enable/disable the beep and enable/disable the vibration, as well as options to add different types of barcodes for the scanner to scan. But the biggest factor for me in my retail work is speed: I can scan something. This means you can hold the scanner up to 1.5 feet away, upside down or sideways and at an angle of 60-70 degrees from the vertical, and scan with results within 1-2 seconds from the first press of the trigger. I tried using this for work today and about 15% of the time it scanned within 1-2 seconds of pulling the trigger, 10% of the time I had to try to scan the barcode from a different angle to get it it works and 75% of the time the barcode didn't scan and I had to use my phone as a scanner or a TC70 provided by my manager. Both my phone and the TC70 could scan barcodes much faster. I will return it and try another Tera Mini scanner (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T82BGQY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_pJZCDbAJXP04K) to see if one scans faster and can scan with fewer tries. In an app, I'm trying to scan the barcodes of a soda bottle and a coffee container from different angles and distances at a speed that the TC70 I usually use can handle.
