Review on πŸ–₯️ Eizo ColorEdge CS2731-BK: Premium 2560x1440 Hardware Calibration Monitor with Warranty and LCD Display by Brian Turner

The perfect compromise

My old Coloredge 240W ended after 15 years. There was no question as to what brand of monitor I would replace it with. The Coloredge outlasted two Dell and ViewSonic used as secondary monitors. I'm primarily a photographer, designer/writer of books and dabble in videos. The extra screen real estate on this 27-inch monitor is welcome when using In-Design. The detail is great, the colors are right. It's everything you expect from Eizo. I can't comment on the games because I'm only interested in them. I am pairing this monitor with a ViewSonic which has 709 rec space for video. The USB ports are great and very conveniently located on this monitor. I really don't like management. I haven't found a monitor with a good control setting yet. I'm an old school guy who likes knobs and switches and trying to figure out which little tactile button controls what. But we're stuck on this technology, and I think Eizo is implementing it the way you might expect. After calibrating this, I realized just how far old Eizo had come in his life. The results were too red on the old one to use as a standard. I look forward to many happy hours editing and printing on this monitor, hopefully the last one I have to buy. The price is too high, much higher than other brands, but the quality is top. It all depends on what you value most.
