I have had my own home electrical system for over 30 years, built my own and only power supply, no Edison and no backup gas generator. In the early years, inverters were very expensive and many of them failed. When I discovered electricity a few decades ago, it was an affordable sine wave. a few months ago my 1000 12vdc inverter had a problem. It turned out that the mice gnawed at the insulation of the battery cable, emitting powerful crackles and flashes. I ordered this inverter so how do I get 300 volts and maybe it can be fixed? I didn't hold my breath. Since I have a 12vdc backup power supply (Sl = direct from big batteries that usually convert to AC) I had been working with computers, internet etc for a few weeks when I finally got out of the Korean videos to unhook the bad wires and to install a new inverter I found and fixed a bad connection to the battery. Then I flipped the switch to Power 1000-12dvc and guess what, it works fine. I wouldn't consider any other brand to control my home.
