Review on 🔇 Programmable, Waterproof NoBark Rechargeable Bark Control Collar by SportDOG Brand by Ashley Slater

I purchased this collar after researching this device along with several others. My dog barked at everything she could think of and needed a collar to stop her barking. When I got the collar I put it on her (she is a 4 year old Sheltie) and used the "Progress" setting. I had to use longer tines because of their fur. After she barked, the collar activated and corrected the behavior (usually at the second or third stage of development). It just required some behavior adjustments and their barking has been greatly reduced. I only left her the collar 8 hours a day (mostly after work in the evenings, then at night and when I went for a walk). After a few weeks I noticed she was making a hoarse noise. Like she's trying to bark but doesn't want to bark loud enough for the collar to work. After removing her collar last night I noticed that she had MANY BURNS ON her NECK (see photo). I contacted Amazon immediately and they refunded my money without hesitation. I wasn't concerned about money, I was more concerned that this product BURNED MY DOG AFTER MINIMAL USE. I can only hope that someone reads this review and it helps prevent this from happening. I don't usually write product reviews, but I felt strong enough to mention this incident. I will also contact the manufacturer to make them aware of this issue.
