Review on Filtrete Replacement Sediment Reduction 4WH QCTO F01 by Elvis Bragg

I got very excited installing this whole house filter at my vacation home in North Carolina. We have a well and the water that ran through it was rusty in color and low in pressure. I knew the filter wouldn't last 12 months with my water but I bought it hoping for the best. The filter cleaned my water perfectly, but the pressure didn't change much. After about 4 months my water pressure dropped even further to the point where I couldn't operate the water hose or more than one sink at a time. I found several faulty fixtures under my house and near the well pump. After replacing all of them, I was devastated to find that the print had not been corrected. The pump read 65-70psi and I knew only the filter was left. I removed the inlet pipe and turned the water back on. The water splashed all over my yard and then a good 50 meters. I was happy to finally hear about the problem but was dismayed to find out my filter only lasted 4 months instead of 12. I replaced the filter a month ago and after about 30 days I noticed my water pressure started to drop again. It might not last 4 months after all.
