I'm incredibly happy with these nail stickers! They are so affordable compared to most options out there. I found them very easy to apply and I think they look great and are holding up well (I'm on my third day, will try to update in a few days). So I did quite a bit of research first on how to get them to work well. Here's what I did: Before applying the decals, I filed/buffed my nails, applied some cuticle oil, pushed back the cuticles, and then wiped my nails with rubbing alcohol. I applied a coat of Essie Here to Stay Base Coat and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Then I put stickers on my nails. Took me maybe 30 minutes but it was my first time and I think with practice it will go a lot faster. I placed them at the base of the nail and slowly ran them over the rest of the nail. They were easy to remove and move around when I didn't place them correctly. I just used my own fingers to press or rub the decals into the nail. Once fully applied I used a nail file to remove the excess (note: next time I use it I'll try to use a medium grit file as I think the exposure obviously has some very minor issues caused, which I will discuss later). I started with the little fingers and worked my way up. After all the decals were in place and the excess filed off, I applied a coat of Seche Vive Instant Gel Effect Top Coat. After drying I felt around the edges of the decal and if I felt a ridge or edge of the decal I applied an extra top coat to those edges. My hands are wet after applying stickers. I also refrained from applying lotions or anything like that because I've read that water/lotion/oil can cause the decals to not dry or cure properly. on my hands/nails, but I'm also extra gentle - I wash my hands, wash, brush, apply lotion and cuticle oil, and the stickers don't come off at all (yet - I'm on day #3) . The only small issue is that the decals don't go all the way to the top of the nail (you can see this in the day 2 photo). A very thin border of a bare nail is visible. I think it's my fault - I think it might be because I used a file to remove extra stickers. It could also be related to the angle I applied the excess from. I'll try to update in a few days! Update after Day #7: They are holding up great! I filed the edges once. I had a nail strip that started to rise a bit (I used it to pick something) but I just pushed it back on and everything was fine. I'll probably put on another layer of top tonight. I'm incredibly happy with it! I was just hoping for something that would last a full week (and look really good) so it accomplished my goal. I'm desperate because I can't wait to try a different color, but I also want to see how long they last. Update #2: Added photos of additional colors in this pack.
