The Bad: There is no dampening mechanism on the struts when the hood is opened so it pushes up, stops and slams hard several times before lowering. "Gently" push out the last few inches. With those heavy bonnet flaps multiple times. God, it's horrible to look like a cheap car. It feels like I put the native rack back. For me this is not a very good buy. Unless your racks are completely broken, I don't recommend them. I didn't see any lube on the round hinges so I added some lube. Installation is very easy, but check YouTube beforehand. Good: cheap + easy installation.
