That might sound like a lot

Let's face it - luggage locks are not designed to prevent theft of your luggage or its contents. Where a standard luggage lock can help is in preventing an airline employee from getting to your luggage and stealing your valuables, which happens more often than people think. Every luggage lock should effectively prevent this, as movers can spend a maximum of a few seconds on each piece of luggage. Unfortunately, most suitcase locks only have a three-digit lock, i.e. only a thousand possible number combinations. . It may seem like a lot, but hotel cleaners can go through all the possible combinations in a matter of minutes. Since most people use the same combination on all of their locks, this means that once they figure out your combination on a part, they can access all of your items. By adding one more digit to the combination of these locks, the number of possible combinations increases by an order of magnitude. So if it takes a hotel worker 10 minutes to process 1,000 combinations, it will take them at least 100 minutes to process 10,000 combinations. This is enough to move them to the next room. These luggage locks are solidly built and the combination is just as easy to install as most 3 digit combination locks. They are definitely worth the purchase price.
