Firstly I will definitely be buying the scale again. My family found it useful to have trending data in the app. The only annoying thing was someone forgot their phone and had to run down the hall with a towel lol. Here's some more info... After my first purchase, I tested the scale with a few other family members. I was curious to see how well it would track all of our individual data, from smaller bodies to large ones. I was impressed with how easy the scale is to interact with the app and how easy it is to use overall. There are a few things you should consider first. At home I carry my iPad rather than my phone. So I tried installing the app on my iPad. Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't find the scales app. I looked, looked, looked, went to the company's website, reread the information about the scales on Revain ... And no luck. At this point I was ready to return the scale due to total disappointment. The next morning I realized I should check the App Store on my iPhone before I gave up. And then the Innotech app appeared. It was easy to download and set up. Obviously this app is not intended to be used with an iPad, which is disappointing.2. It's not a scale where you just step on the scale and get a number. The phone must be there! You need to put the scale in a place where you can place your phone in front of you. In our case, we decided that the scale is best placed in front of the wall with cabinets in the bathroom. I just open the closet door, put the phone on the shelf in front of me.3. Open the app and make sure you're on the Control Panel screen. It looks like a scale with a display of your weight.4. At the top of the dashboard screen it says "Please stand barefoot on the scale". You want to make sure each leg is positioned so that the middle silver button is between your legs. The top of the screen says "Please don't move..." 6. You still have to stay where you are. Limit your movements. Then "Completed” appears on the control panel screen. At this point, you can step off the scale and pick up your phone to view your weight and data. (When I first found this out, I was actually moving before I realized the phone screen would tell me when to move. That really messed up the data.) 7. Search the app below on the screen for menu options. You can select Goal, Trends, Dashboard, Information, and Me. To view the data collected by this gauge, go to Trends. Swipe left through the different options. In my attached photos you can see different screens. One of the things we did was weigh in at different times of the day to see what the difference was. Less weight in the morning, more weight in the evening before bed. Overall I am very happy with this scale. It is not 100% accurate as you will see by looking at my photos. On the screen and on the dashboard that says "Completed" the calculation of how far I need to reach my goal weight was wrong. It was 2.5 pounds off and I'm pretty sure it's just a data error. And in one of my pictures where this is shown, I've circled it and put a red ? Please note that I have already successfully lost over 40 pounds. I find it easier to manage small steps as my goal than big and distant ones. I assure you, this isn't lying on the couch eating candy! Since I wanted you to have all the data from my personal experience, I've posted all my experience and data.) Also, I should mention that the scale goes all the way to 400 pounds , which I think is great. He successfully weighed and small grandchildren. It's very versatile! It's also very durable. I never felt that my weight would harm him in any way. He never felt shaky or unbalanced. The build quality appears to be excellent. I have no doubt that you will do well with this scale at home. I'm very glad to have that in the back of my mind!
