Not recommended if you don't plan to use them ever remove the lock. These locks are so stiff and thick that they are not easy to work with. I was happy to get her to finish organizing our breadboards for my friend's workshop. At first I was disappointed with the packaging. They come in a box with opening ends. The first 3 I started removing to move the hook clicked on the first try (mind you I used quite a few of these locks on our boards before they just went out and never clicked!). The last one I tried to remove snapped and cut my finger about half an inch. not cool! Use with caution! All in all a very disappointing purchase. I ended up reluctantly finishing boards with them. He wore gloves because he didn't want to be stuck in the store with a half-finished project and a mess.
