MIK carrier plate works great and serves the purpose. My wife wanted a basket for her bike to carry our little puppy 🐶 and she needed something to secure the basket. I ordered a basket through Trek but it didn't have an adapter (MIK plate) for the bike, just a connector on the bottom of the basket. The MIK plate is extremely adjustable as you can slide horizontally and vertically or move the sliding components by loosening the screws. I removed the wood panel from my wife's built-in rack on her Huffy Panama Beach bike to fit into the clamps on the MIC oven. Went for a walk with the puppy 🐶 and he felt completely safe. Completely satisfied, especially since the MIC plate is removable and can be put on another bike if the woman decides to switch. In addition, you can buy more connectors and add them to your basket, bag, backpack or wooden box and simply connect to the MIK plate. Quite an interesting concept.
