Bottom line - this seems to help reduce squiggles/cycles in my rear camera video stream. Initially I connected the camera directly to the tail light power supply and while it worked and I could see where I was moving (backwards) the image was a little blurry. The addition of this device cleared things up a bit. There's still some blur, but definitely better. I tried several other capacitors and they didn't work as well as this one. Ultimately, this device didn't make it crystal clear, but it does the job well. Mine arrived quickly (2 days I think?).
