I don't know if it works better in car electronics

Because I had "noise" problems with my rear camera, I was offered to buy this to fix it. Still having problems, not the fault of this product!

Worked perfectly for my 2012 Audi A3 8P

My backup camera (junk from ebay) had a terrible static engine noise when reversing. This capacitor just erased it! Definitely works!

Almost no improvement in image quality.

Doesn't provide enough filters to be useful. Video quality still quickly degrades to static. It's better than no filter for the first minute or two, but still not good enough after that.

VW Touareg - Furrion wireless rear view camera

I had problems with my 2011 VW Touareg and the Furrion wireless camera for my caravan. If I braked or turned on the turn signals, the signal disappeared. With this device I now always have a full signal! Installation only took 5 minutes!

Didn't work - car electronics

Bought hoping to eliminate interference from the rear camera. Unfortunately it didn't matter. I ended up having to connect an additional power source and turn on the relay. This solved the problem. This might work for some cars, but if you have a Dodge Journey, look elsewhere.

Fairly easy to install and seems to work on a 2003 Ford Excursion

Bottom line - this seems to help reduce squiggles/cycles in my rear camera video stream. Initially I connected the camera directly to the tail light power supply and while it worked and I could see where I was moving (backwards) the image was a little blurry. The addition of this device cleared things up a bit. There's still some blur, but definitely better. I tried several other capacitors and they didn't work as well as this one.
