My 4 year old daughter loves this balaclava so much she wants to wear it all the time. It seems a bit big for her little head but I like that she can use it for a few winters when she grows up. She keeps her warm when we go sledding without fear of falling like she's wearing a hat. I also like the windbreak that covers the mouth and cheeks. Last year I had to wrap an oversized scarf around her neck that was so chunky. That works great.
