These things are MASSIVE. I wasn't expecting a huge 16 ounce piece of beautifully crafted metal for the price. Not to mention that the bolt-on baseplates are also significantly more massive. I haven't installed it yet, but I'm already impressed. Much thicker than the D-ring struts I've seen welded onto most aftermarket bumpers. Class 5 hardware might have liked to see an 8 given the weight of the mount itself, but it's more than acceptable. However, pay attention to the size of the bracket.
- Easy to Fit: Just weld or use the original hole in the bumper, you can also drill a new hole directly in the bumper. You can choose one of these simple ways. It doesn't cost you too much energy.
