My feet are not very big. I comfortably wear a 10 1/2 or 11 which is an average shoe size of 10.5 in the US and 9-12 worldwide. They are so narrow that they reduce rather than support blood flow. I tried to get used to it but after 15 minutes my legs got freezing from lack of circulation. I tried another pair in case they were inferior and went shopping 3 minutes away. In that short time I developed a painful tingling sensation from cutting the blood. I had to take them off and go for a short trip without socks. Keep in mind that if you are a male of average build they fit so snugly on an average adult male that it would be hard to imagine them fitting snugly but comfortably as they should. to all but petite women and children. Last note. as another reviewer said. No reception? overlays for these. They just have a rough plastic part with rubber bands. This is a small problem but it can be solved as the bands can act as the soft pad needed to keep them secure. This in turn can lead to another problem. Or. Hopefully you'll loosen it and reattach it when it's loose enough. I tried that and it didn't work. I would NOT recommend them to "MOST" people. Actually. I personally would not recommend this compression brand to anyone.
