This is a good buy for the price. However, there are 2 things I would change. First, I would place the controller closer to the battery and the extra wire between the controller and the solar panel. For the best charge you want the controller to measure the battery voltage as accurately as possible and with 16ft of 16 gauge wire in bright sunshine with about 5 amps going into the battery there is almost a voltage drop between the between the controller and the battery, falsely indicating that the battery has more charge than it actually has. Second, I would use a heavier gauge wire to limit the voltage drop across the system. However, it's not difficult to rewire this block to take advantage of this. I think it should be wired that way from the start. Otherwise the panel and controller seem very reasonable for the price.
