I have purchased and tested two of these lights. They are voltage adjustable, which is good for 12V battery systems where the voltage can fluctuate. They are also powered by 24 volt battery systems. An internal voltage regulator ensures constant lighting and protects the lamps from overvoltage. They dim when the voltage drops below 11 volts. I gave them 4 stars because they are advertised as 4.5w but are actually 2.7w which is a difference of over 20%. The light output is decent, illuminating the countertop but not as bright as regular lighting, but they only use 2.7 watts each. They work safely in cars, boats, SUVs, and with solar power where you power them from a battery. . They are good safe lighting.
