When I plugged in a regular standard desktop fan, which was small by fan standards, and turned it on at high speed, the fan speed was much faster than usual. The same at medium and low speed. However, when I turned it off, the fan kept running. I've never seen anything like this. Of course, if the device doesn't turn off when you say it, something is wrong.
