It has a nice, long solar cell and charges the battery even in partial sunlight. I charged it with indirect sunlight and the light was still on in the morning. I don't agree with those who say that while admittedly difficult to peel off thin numbers, it couldn't be easier for me. And they are really big! So at 20 meters there is a person trying to find your house no matter how bold it is. The light shines brightly, but just as an extra measure I bought some reflective tape and stuck it to the panel before gluing the numbers. a piece of tape on the back, two points made with a pen on the mounting holes, a template for mounting. Easy as pie, installs in 15 minutes. I also like that you can easily replace (and thus improve) the battery.
