I agree with what many others have said about breaking the plastic clips. It happened to me when I put the lantern in the bumper slot. Knowing this was a recurring problem I was very careful, but it broke anyway. My recommendation is OPTION A: If the clips break off, clean the bumper and back of the headlight with rubbing alcohol. Cover the back of the lantern as much as possible with good quality double sided mounting tape (3M Outdoor). Insert the flashlight where it belongs and press firmly on all sides to ensure it is secure. Then apply a small bead of silicone sealant around the edge of the bracket. Mine are still there. OPTION B: Bring back the light.
