Review on ๐ŸŽง Sweatproof Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds 5.0 - Long Standby, Noise Cancelling, Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones with Mic, Ideal for Workout/Travel - Awhite by Josh Gerhardt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You will receive a $15 gift card. Then what.

I reserve the right to "update" this review if these earbuds turn out to be "unusable headphones" - as I only received them today. The quality looks good, the fit is comfortable. The only downside is that 1) you don't really have an off switch. You have to touch the device to make it work the way you want it to, and I'm not sure how practical that is. 2) I let them fully charge and it took several tries to get the LT and RT headphones to pair. Hope that won't be a problem. UPDATE: I appreciate the fact that these headphones came with a $15 Revain gift card. However, I didn't like receiving an email asking me to CHANGE my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Along with a request to change the rating, I was offered to send another pair of headphones. While I appreciate the gift card and the offer of more products, I would have preferred the product I paid for suited my needs. I actually downgraded it to one star because I'm not as happy with the headphones as I had hoped. In general, the sound quality is good, but there are problems. First, touching the device as a control method is very annoying. If you're just sitting in one place, that might be fine, but if you're trying to exercise, it gets tricky. Most of the time, if you sweat or they start slipping out, your music will stop when you try to slide them back in because any touch will stop them. They even stop or lose signal if you turn your head to one side or the other. Also, they aren't as "noise-cancelling" as they should be, I could still hear the overwhelming sound of the cicadas when trying to talk to a friend over Bluetooth. As far as I can tell, there's no real way to turn them off, and you can't tell how well they charge. So, my final review: These headphones have great sound. But they are not very suitable for moderate or high-intensity training (which is why I bought them). When you run on an elliptical trainer, your earbuds may slip a little. As such, the inability to easily bring them back without interrupting the audio content is very annoying. These in-ear headphones are probably best for commuting, travelling, walking or cleaning the house. But for anything more than a brisk walk, I'd suggest getting headphones that are a little less sensitive to touch or movement. So, using my $15 gift card, I bought another pair of headphones that suited my needs a little better.
