I've always liked Dell monitors; They always have great performers. I ordered two of these for a home office setup. Both arrived with no damage to the boxes. I knew beforehand that there was no DVI cable included, just VGA, so that wasn't a problem. I still had spare cables. The monitors were set up quickly and easily. The default settings looked fine, but I lowered the brightness to 50 (default 75). You may have different tastes. The only thing I could fault is that the power light in the bottom right corner is pretty bright. Since I just leave the monitor on and let it go into sleep mode, I covered the display with a small piece of tape and voila, no more problems. But I wouldn't deduct a star for that, maybe a quarter star. I've only had these monitors for 4 days so obviously I can't vouch for any long term issues but so far I'm loving these monitors!
