Yes! It was a disappointment. See the picture for comparison (right ties are normal, left ties are the product). It was very thin and delicate, especially when compared to a "regular" cable tie of the same 8 inch length. I was able to tighten it so tight that it broke, which is saying a lot considering I have a torn ligament in my wrist. If you're tying something simple together and want a smaller footprint, this is a good buy. But if you need it to really hold up and maybe even support some weight, this is NOT the best buy.
