I folded them in half and placed them on top of the smoker as an insulator. That works great! I keep it in the smoking room with the help of 4 magnets and two carabiners (someone already posted a photo of how this is done). I have a Campchef 24SG Pro and it fits great. I live in Wisconsin and this helps the smoker stay warm and use significantly less pellets both summer and winter. I would say that the number of granules has decreased by at least 1/3 or 1/2. I purchased the magnets from Menards and have had no issues with them falling off at any cooking temperature or opening and closing the smoker door. doesn't look as pretty as the manufacturer's blanket, but works wonders. I highly recommend. Side No: I also put a gasket around my lid to seal the door a little better and allow less smoke from behind the door.
