I'm an apprentice at IBEV and get a lot of scrap wire on my current construction site. I wanted to undress him to get as much money as possible and this thing is awesome! I've disassembled everything from 10 to 250 gauge. Once you dial it in for your current wire size, you'll strip and race it. The key to stranded wire with a smaller conductor is not to over-tighten the blade. It cuts through the copper strands inside and your wire turns into hundreds of little sharp needles that go EVERYWHERE. I highly recommend this system as it is made in the USA and is very well built compared to other systems I have seen.
