GREAT DEAL - the best strippers

Oh my god! This item is AMAZING! We made 400 pounds of bare, shiny copper in under 3 hours! Feel free to buy this. It does exactly what it says on the tin and we are very happy with our purchase. UPDATE: The feed wheel inside the scraper failed 32 days after purchase. I've tried to initiate a return and exchange through Revain but I can't do it because 30 days have passed. I don't know what to do next as there is no contact information for Strip Meister, Inc. If there is anyone who can help me…

The best wire stripper for little ones

I've used this little tool quite a bit so far. I have to say this guy is very skilled and will strip this wire quickly. I've used this on 14 AWG up to 250kcmil and it worked fine. The only thing I'd like to point out is that when you're working with larger wires, things get a little faster if you have a nice open area to insert and kick the insulation aside. If you can or can get the drill to run at a constant low speed it will help and not cost you an arm and a leg to buy an extra motor for…

A stripping beast!

I'm an apprentice at IBEV and get a lot of scrap wire on my current construction site. I wanted to undress him to get as much money as possible and this thing is awesome! I've disassembled everything from 10 to 250 gauge. Once you dial it in for your current wire size, you'll strip and race it. The key to stranded wire with a smaller conductor is not to over-tighten the blade. It cuts through the copper strands inside and your wire turns into hundreds of little sharp needles that go EVERYWHERE.

Woot woot, undress for me baby!

When my husband asked me to undress for him I was surprised to say the least. Upset? Of course. flattered? Apparently. In short, I'm alone in the garage. a bit annoyed. but not with this product here. It's worth it if you or your (not young enough to be a stripper) wife have some free time and a few wires that you usually just let loose. Super easy to use and adjustable. I love that I can strip the wire easily, but since THHN varies in size you always have to adjust the blade or it can cut…

Amazing product! for power tools and hand tools

Absolutely amazing! I've tried other products for 20 years that NEVER worked. This car is amazing! I stripped copper 4/0 to 16 gauge thhn thwn. I was even able to make a sjow cable and cable tray that has the strongest jacket of all. Don't rush the setup. I only put the knife down far enough to cut through the jacket (my theory is not to carry a cutting wheel). Contrary to some other reviews, I was able to remove the 2/0 alum from the SEU cable with no issues. I have had this product for about…

don't wait, just buy it, it will pay off!

Wow! This is the easiest way to strip large wires. I read several reviews about it and was skeptical. I shot about 300ft 1/0-350µm in about 3 hours with two people. Extremely easy setup and REALLY fast. Stripmeister sends a spiral cut-off wheel, so I'm guessing that over time it's just a matter of paying attention. (I only used it for a day so can't speak to durability, but the wheel looks like new after 300ft of stripping. I've ridden it pretty rough a few times and hardly noticed any wear on…

380 lbs 8AWG -- No problem -- Learn the tricks, it's even easier!

This is a simple but solid design. The unit comes with mounting screws, but I went with clips and everything worked fine. I (accidentally) ordered 2 of these and actually wanted to keep the second one, but I have so many hands. My tricks that made life easier: 1. Once you figure out which hole you are using and need to adjust it, slowly insert the wire and manually adjust the turnbuckle until you see the wire is above the mark lies. Too much/too deep, you'll hate life (if it's stranded). Not…

great product to buy!

prompt delivery. amazing product paid for itself in a day and a few. I estimate I cut about 4,000 feet of 12/10/8/6 AWG wire. I had to buy a StripMeister E250 with a 1/4 hp motor. You really need a powerful drill. Unless you plan to throw away your power tools, don't make the mistake of using an underpowered drill. After destroying my first drill, I'm using an old corded BOSH drill that seems to work fine. I still have to let it cool down when using 8/6 AWG, but I fly with 10/12 AWG with no…

Why didn't I buy this many years ago?!

I'm an electrician who specializes in remodeling projects so I always pull out the old wire and recycle it. I've been thinking about buying a wire stripper for a long time, but I always thought I needed a big and expensive one. Eventually I broke down and thought I'd try one of these smaller ones and as others have said why didn't I get one of these years ago?! It works well and strips wires much faster than I could with a utility knife and much more safely at it. The device is small, but this…
